Privacy policy.

How Define Gravity handles information when you use define-gravity.com.

We treat privacy and security as part of the infrastructure we design. This page explains what that means for this site.

Privacy overview

Who we are and what this covers.

Define Gravity, LLC (“Define Gravity,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides managed infrastructure and CloudOps services for teams that cannot afford fragile systems. This website at https://define-gravity.com is one of the ways people learn about our work and contact us.

If you have questions about this policy, you can reach us at hello@define-gravity.com.

This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our site, request an audit or CloudOps engagement, or ask to be notified about a product or beta. It does not cover unrelated third party sites that we link to, such as product sites on other domains or platforms we do not control.

This site and our services are intended for business and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact hello@define-gravity.com and we will remove it.

How we use information

How we use the information we collect.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your requests and questions
  • Decide whether we are a good fit for your infrastructure needs
  • Plan and schedule calls or follow ups with you
  • Improve our content, layout, and performance
  • Protect our services from abuse or misuse

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use contact details collected on this site to run unrelated advertising campaigns.

We will not ask you for passwords, one time codes, or full payment details by email. If you receive a message that appears to do that in our name, delete it and contact us directly using the address on this page.

Sharing

When we share information.

We share information only when it is necessary for a clear purpose:

  • Service providers. We use carefully selected third parties to help us host the site, send transactional email, and run analytics. They are allowed to process your information only to provide those services to us, not for their own unrelated use.
  • Legal or safety reasons. We may share information if we believe it is required by law or needed to protect our rights, safety, or the rights and safety of others.
  • Business changes. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or similar event, information may be transferred as part of that process. If that happens, we will aim to preserve the protections in this policy.

We do not publish detailed internal processes, escalation paths, or security controls on this site. That is intentional and is part of reducing social engineering risk.

Security and retention

How we protect and retain information.

Security

We treat security and privacy as part of our core work. Measures we use include:

  • Transport encryption for this site
  • Role based access control for internal tools
  • Limited access to logs and contact data to people who need it for their work
  • Regular updates to software and dependencies

No system is perfect, but we work to reduce risk and respond promptly to issues we become aware of.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we have a reason to use it, for example:

  • To stay in touch with you about an active or prospective engagement
  • To comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations

If we no longer need information for those purposes, we will delete it or de identify it.

Your choices

Your choices and how to contact us.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, ask us to delete some information, or object to or limit certain uses of your data.

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@define-gravity.com. We may need to verify that you are the person connected to the request before acting. We do not use this verification process to ask for passwords, payment details, or one time codes.

You can also control cookies and tracking technologies in your browser and use private browsing modes or extensions if you prefer to limit analytics.

We may update this policy from time to time. If the changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may provide a brief notice on the site. If you continue to use the site after changes take effect, that use is treated as acceptance of the updated policy.
