Accessibility

Accessibility statement.

How we design and maintain define-gravity.com so people can use it.

Accessibility, performance, and resilience are part of how we design infrastructure. This page explains what that means for this site.

Commitment

Our commitment to accessibility.

At Define Gravity, accessibility, performance, and resilience are part of how we design systems, including our own website. We want people to be able to use https://define-gravity.com regardless of technology, context, or ability.

Scope and standards

What this statement covers and the standards we aim for.

Scope

This statement applies to the main site at https://define-gravity.com and to first party pages that live under this domain. We also link to related product sites and tools that live on other domains. Those sites have their own accessibility and privacy practices, but we take accessibility into account when we choose platforms and vendors.

Standards we aim for

Our goal is to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA for the pages we control.

Design and implementation

How we design and build for accessibility.

When we build and update this site, we aim to:

  • Use semantic HTML and clear heading structures
  • Aim for strong color contrast between text and background
  • Ensure interactive elements can be reached and used with a keyboard
  • Provide visible focus indicators
  • Use meaningful link and button labels
  • Respect user preferences such as reduced motion
  • Test layouts on modern desktop and mobile browsers

We use a mix of automated tools and manual review to check accessibility and treat accessibility issues as bugs that need to be fixed, not as a separate add on.

Compatibility and limitations

Compatibility, known limitations, and third party services.

Compatibility

This site is intended to work with current versions of major browsers, recent versions of desktop and mobile operating systems, and common assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice control, and keyboard only navigation. Very old browsers, devices that are no longer supported by their vendors, or unusual configurations may not provide the full experience.

Known limitations

We are always working to improve, and there may be areas that are not yet where we want them to be. Today, possible limitations can include:

  • Some embedded third party content, such as analytics or external widgets, may not fully follow the same accessibility standards we apply to our own code.
  • Certain motion effects may still be present for users who have not set a reduced motion preference at the system level.

If you encounter any barrier, please tell us so we can investigate and improve.

Third party content and services

We rely on some third party services to run this site, such as hosting, analytics, and form handling. While we try to work with vendors who respect accessibility, we do not control their interfaces end to end.

If you encounter an accessibility issue with a third party element that appears on our site, you can still report it to us. We will pass feedback along where appropriate and consider alternatives if a tool does not meet our standards.

Feedback and contact

How to report an issue or request an alternative format.

If you have trouble using any part of this site, contact us at hello@define-gravity.com and include:

  • The page URL or area of the site
  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead
  • The browser, device, and any assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing that

We review every accessibility report and will do our best to respond and address the issue. We may need to ask follow up questions to understand the problem, but we will not ask for passwords, one time codes, or full payment details.

Alternative access

If you need information from this site in a different format, such as a simpler document or a call to walk through a specific page, contact us at hello@define-gravity.com. We will work with you to find a reasonable way to provide the information.

Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one time project. We review this site and this statement at least once a year and whenever we make significant updates to design or functionality.
